🛠️Bot Setup
This page details how to configure Consortium's swap bot! It explains the different settings and their accompanying affects!
Wallet Configuration
To configure the bot, first join the bot channel https://t.me/ConsortiumKeyBot and follow these instructions:
Type /start, then click "settings".
After, click "wallets".
Click "create wallet" and either generate an EVM or SOL wallet with the bot, or enter the private key for a wallet you have created elsewhere.
Once you have created a wallet, make sure to select the wallet from this menu to "enable" it for use - it will have a green circle next to it once it is enabled. Free tier users can have 3 active wallets, and Elite Tier Degens can have unlimited.
Transaction Profile Creation
After creating or importing your wallet, you will continue on to configure your "Profiles". A transaction Profile is a settings preset that you can configure for each type of aping you want to do, so you don't have to edit these settings for every new action you want to do!
You can setup a profile for default buying/selling, another for using limit orders with high gas, another profile for selling with diff settings, another for sniping with high gas, different profiles with different groupings of wallets, etc! Free users can have 4 profiles, and Elite users can have unlimited.
You will have to initially at least configure on default Profile to use for your main transacting!
Note: disabling "confirm" will mean there is 0 confirmation after selecting your profile & ape amount when transacting. This makes it much faster (less clicks), but forfeits your ability to confirm at the end.
To create your profile, type /start to return to the main menu, then select "settings" again, and select "Profiles".
Click "Create Profile", enter a name (I suggest one letter names so they're easy to type quickly when transacting), select which chain you want the profile for, and then which wallet(s) you want this profile to use.
Select the Profile from the menu where you will be given the option to adjust multiple settings, as pictured below. These can always be changed later. Details for what each of these settings do can be found below!
Once you create your profiles, make sure to select one to enable it as your default profile (it will have a green circle next to it when it is selected) NOTE: Default Profiles have Mev Protection disabled (which means you can get sandwiched. Enable Mev Protection for a slight tx speed reduction and less likelihood of sandwiching)
Consortium Settings explained:
Chain: Change what blockchain your profile will transact on. Right now we support ETH, SOL , ARB, Blast, Base, and Shibarium.
Wallets: Chance what wallet(s) this profile will use.
Buy Amount: Set the default buy amount that your Profile will use
Sell Amount: Set the default sell % your Profile will use
Mev Protection: Choose between normal transaction method, and flashbots. Flashbots will protect your transaction from Sandwiches, at the cost of slightly higher gas cost and less reliability. Failed flashbot tx's also wont charge gas. Head to the Gas, Slippage, Uniswap, and Flashbot page in this guide for more info
Confirm: When enabled, the bot will ask you for confirmation before submitting your transaction. When it is disabled, it will not ask for confirmation and simply send your buy/sell right after you select the amount,.
Approve: When enabled, Approve will automatically approve each token for trading right when you initially buy it. When disabled, it will not automatically approve - instead it will do so when you go to sell.
Gas: Configure the gas settings for your profile. You have several options when configuring Gas through Consortium:
leave blank to be automatic/market price
filled with a % to be market gas + x% (eg. 50% would be market gas + 50% extra)
filled as (maxfee,priority) if you would like a fixed gas amount per transaction. Can also mix the two like 250%,15
Slip: Use this to configure your default slippage for your Profile.
Low Tax Slippage: When not using flashbots, Phoebe can automatically lower your slippage when buying/selling off a token alert that has the tax information and it is below 3% tax. (sandwich bots tend to not monitor pairs with higher tax than this as it isn't profitable). This setting will be the % slippage that Phoebe uses on pairs like that. If using flashbots, I just set the default low-tax slippage to the same as my default slippage as it is irrelevant.
Refresh Mev Reputation: When using flashbots you build a reputation with miners. Good/successful tx's = good reputation and being accepted by miners with block priority. Bad/failed tx's from low gas, low slippage, etc. can give you a negative reputation and make your tx's be rejected by miners. If you notice this, you can reset your signature/reputation by clicking this button.
Change Confirmation: This will change whether or not Phoebe asks you for Confirmation when transacting. Enabling this means that Phoebe will always ask if you are sure you want to swap X for Y. Disabling this means that right when you submit a buy or sell, Phoebe will execute with 0 confirmation
